Pat Doyne loves to draw. She has enlivened quarantining during the pandemic by discovering a cornucopia of bizarre squash and by designing colored pencil arrangements. She has a great time naming her groupings as if they are rock bands.
Pat is a retired teacher who works in watercolor. She studied botanical illustration with Mary Harden. Pat’s paintings have been exhibited locally at the Crocker Botanical Library in Golden Gate Park, the USF Faculty and Alumni House in San Francisco, the Lindsay Wildlife Museum, the Hayward Shoreline Visitor Center, and the East Bay M.U.D. offices in downtown Oakland.
Ms. Doyne invites all you artists out there to peruse the veggie section of Trader Joe’s for offbeat inspiration.
